05/01/06 World Horror Convention
In less than two weeks, Debbie will be attending the WHC in San Francisco, May 11-14. If you plan to be there as well, let her know about it! She'll be promoting Issue #7 of Wicked Karnival Magazine (due out in late May), which will include her horror story, "The White Death," illustrated by Glenn Chadbourne. Also, as of this month, Deb is officially a review editor for the mag.

It's just been announced that artist Glenn Chadbourne (who is working with Stephen King on his upcoming novel, "The Secretary of Dreams") will be illustrating Debbie's horror story, "The White Death," for Issue #7 of Wicked Karnival, available in June.

Debbie's flash fiction horror tale, "Midnight at Waverly Hills," is featured (and illustrated) in the March '06 issue of Estronomicon. The tale's prequel, "One Last Night at Waverly Hills," will appear in the April issue.

The February issue of Deb's monthly newsletter, "The Nightwriter Report," is now available. Sign up now (see form on index page) to read her latest horror story, "The White Death." And check out the pet photo gallery (link on Author Bio page) to see the newest member of Debbie's family, a charming (but wicked) white feline named "Romeo." (A fond farewell to her oldest cat, LeStat, who passed away in December.) Some of you may have noticed the "glitch" going on with the review page - the reviews for Debbie's work disappeared last week, something that also happened back in November. 08/13/04 to 08/15/04: Horrorfind Weekend
The horror convention held in Hunt Valley, Maryland turned out to be a tremendous amount of fun for Debbie and her writer pal, Nicole Cushing. The girls met up with publishers, editors, actors, and horror fans galore. An interesting, worthwhile experience all the way around.
