AuthorCon is a three-day long celebration of writers, readers and publishers, hosted by author Brian Keene. The sixth event will take place in Williamsburg, Virginia from February 27 – March 1, 2026, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.

Guests of Honor will be Nat Cassidy, John Durgin, RJ Joseph, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Ronald Kelly and many more.

Special events include the 2026 Women’s Writing Symposium for speculative fiction, taking place on February 25 and 26, and the Scares That Care charity event. Every year, Scares That Care gives $10,000 to three individuals: a breast cancer patient, a burn victim and a sick child.
